The NICU Journey Does Not Start at Birth

For many families, the NICU journey begins long before a baby is born.

Mothers facing high-risk pregnancies and hospital bed rest often experience fear, uncertainty, and isolation—without the support they need.

At the Elaine Symone Foundation, we walk alongside families across the full journey:

  • Before birth, during high-risk pregnancies

  • During the NICU stay, when support is critical

  • Beyond the NICU, as families transition home

Because support at every stage matters.

How We Support Families

  • Before the NICU (Pre-Birth Support)

    We support mothers experiencing high-risk pregnancies and hospital bed rest with care packages, encouragement, and resources that prioritize their mental and emotional well-being.

  • During the NICU Stay

    We provide direct support to NICU families, including essential items, comfort resources, and financial assistance to help ease the burden during extended hospital stays.
